Monday Motivation: Nymeria's Story

A year ago today, Nymeria and I adopted each other. My little warrior queen came all the way from Texas to start a new life by my side. When I first held her, her shakey legs and nimble body clung on to mine. She wouldn't let go of me, and I knew that I would never let go of her. I could see the journey in her eyes, the history and the strength.

This young warrior was rescued off of the euthanasia list across the country, and by fate we became best friends. I can't imagine life without my girl's quirks. She has grown so much in the past 365 days --I could not be a prouder, crazier dog mama.

Thanks for all that you have taught me this past year Nymeria, HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY!

Please adopt, don't shop! I promise that these angels are worth more than you can ever imagine. These animals have so much to teach us about life. Dogs, pigs, foxes, cows, etc.--they deserve a chance.
