My mom found me through TracysDogs in the Summer of 2015 and we have been best friends ever since!

 

I used to live in San Antonio, Texas. I was picked up outside by animal control and put in a high kill shelter-- I was next on the euthanasia list. I wasn't sure what was going on, I was lost and scared when the TD Team found me. They rescued me and brought me back to their shelter where I learned to play and socialize with other dogs. It was a lot of fun, though I was a bit timid at first. Apparently I had been a little sick with some mange, but they helped me with that too. After 2 months at TD, the team found me a really good home. Apparently they interviewed my mom 2-3 times before she was able to adopt me! They spoke with her everyday and matched me with her personality to ensure we would be a good fit for each other. September 19th was the day that I found my forever home, my mom and I will never forget it.

People are always asking my mom and me about TracysDogs. We wanted to share our story with you so that we could educate the community about all of the different options out there! My mom was able to find me through TD, even though it is based in Texas, because little ones like me are overpopulated down south. Their team travels us to different areas across the country once we are adopted! It's pretty cool.
