What do you crave when your saliva glands are gross, your taste buds are bland, and you're too tired to really cook?

After a few days of straight soup, boredom and frustration hit.

Take care of yourself with this simple snack!

we will talk about that bed head later....

Preheat that oven to 375 degrees, F.

Spread out a lot of Kale on a pan.

Drizzle lightly with Olive Oil and Agave.

Toss in a few pieces of chopped Garlic at your desire.

Sprinkle with Pink Himalayan Sea Salt and Crushed Red Pepper.

Bake for 20-22 minutes.

Take out and add (or dip) Organic Apple Cider Vinegar.

These ingredients may possibly be the best while your sick. They have strong, robust flavor game and help you re-illuminate from the inside out.

Nature's medicine is amazing:

Kale. FULL of antioxidants, rich in Vitamin A & K (&C), and a great anti-inflammatory.

Garlic. Garlic is a well-known natural medicine that has been documented throughout history (seriously, so cool). It has a compound of Allicin that enters the digestive system and has biological effects. It is rich in Manganese, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Selenium, Fiber, and decent amounts of calcium, copper, potassium, phosphorus, iron and vitamin B1.

"Garlic supplementation is known to boost the function of the immune system. One large 12-week study found that a daily garlic supplement reduced the number of colds by 63% compared with placebo (4).The average length of cold symptoms was also reduced by 70%, from 5 days in placebo to just 1.5 days in the garlic group.Another study found that a high dose of garlic extract (2.56 grams per day) can reduce the number of days sick with cold or flu by 61% (5).If you often get colds, then adding garlic to your diet could be incredibly helpful.Bottom Line: Garlic supplementation helps to prevent and reduce the severity of common illnesses like the flu and common cold."

Agave. With healing effects, this sweet nectar comes from the same plant as Tequila -- another ancient medicine. It is an anti-inflammatory with immune-boosting properties from the saponins and fructans within.

"The tradition of adding salt to the nectar has been found to further boost its anti-microbial property. Agave nectar has also been proven effective against enteric (intestinal) bacteria."

Pink Himalayan Sea Salt. It. Is. Amazing. It has over 84 trace minerals and elements that are also found within the human body. Woaaahh. These minerals include: sodium chloride, sulphate, calcium, potassium, and magnesium. Himalayan Pink Sea Salt has an incredible number of healing properties (inside and outside) from it's crystals; all the while, you are actually consuming less sodium than your normal table salt, stabilizing your pH levels, detoxifying, and promoting vascular health.

Crushed Red Pepper. Okay, this one helps decrease your inflammation and gives you vitamin A; however, I add this one for my taste buds and to make myself sweat a bit! I am a baby with spicey food, but this is super helpful.

(Also, try adding cayenne!)

Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. A lot of us know all of the raging benefits of apple cider vinegar. Let's just do a quick brief: Promotes health cholestoral, helps heartburn and acid reflux, regulates blood sugar, improves nutrient absorption, and has a ton of antioxidant properties to keep your body running smoothly. I am a Saul and Vincenzo (my term for salt and vinegar chips) fanatic and I like to add this vinegar to a lot of snacks that I eat. When your sick, this helps the sore throat and runny nose a lot!I buy Bragg's brand.

So, that's all of what you need to know for nature's medicinal kale snack!

Now go kick some ass!

xoxo, K

P.S. Feel Better!
