they did the Chickpea Mash...
I know, I know... wrong season. The Chickpea Smash probably should have been posted in October and not December, but this is something you can eat anytime. No literally. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner. If you pre-boil a big bag of chickpeas for the week, this may be the quickest recipe you've got. Otherwise, boiling the chickpeas will take about 90 minutes...
What you do need to do....
Toss chickpeas into a skillet with olive oil. Cook them with some fresh, or chopped/minced, garlic until they are golden brown. Take off burner and smash them with your fork onto toast (similar to spreading avocado). Sprinkle with paprika, salt, and pepper.
Add anything else you may like too -- I added sunflower sprouts!
